I smirked at the person opposite me in the dark cabin.

‘You’re lying’ I said in Hindi, my hand resting on the sheet of paper on the table.
He glared at me.

‘All the proof is there, Faram sold us out’ he replied in the same language.

‘I know you’re lying.. because you sold us out.’
His eyes darted to the door and back while his hand reached for the dagger in his boot.

‘I did not…’ he said before lunging at me, the dagger aimed at my heart.
I pushed my chair away from the table, kicking the table against his stomach.

‘Ugh!’ He doubled over, clutching his stomach as I whipped my dagger out of its sheath at my waist, striking at his face.

‘AGH!!!!!’ he cried out, his hands covering his face as blood dripped between the cracks of his fingers. A noise sounded behind me just as I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder. Spinning around I was confronted by a large man with a scar down his face, and a face that looks like it belongs on a gargoyle.

‘Hello, demon’ he said and punched me in the gut, his hand reaching for an axe on his back.  I winced, doubling over as I clutched my stomach just as I felt a very unpleasant sensation in my shoulder before a ripping sound filled the room followed by an acute pain in my shoulder.

‘Don’t worry, we won’t hurt you… much’ came a voice from behind me.
I snarled and dropped my dagger, pulling out the two Odachi from their sheaths on my back.

‘I’m not cowed so easily.’ Whirling around, I buried my swords in his side, feeling the vibration’s in them as they hit his ribcage. Letting go of the swords I reached down, grabbing my dagger and spinning around, burying it in the other man’s stomach. I felt the warm blood spill over my hand as the man collapsed on the dagger. Wincing, I pulled it out and let the man fall onto the ground.

‘Well, that was interesting’ I muttered to myself, leaning on one of my Odachi. I pushed open the door and walked outside to be met by the clamor of weapons and shouting. A raging battle was going on. I cursed under my breath and spun around, running back into the cabin and flinging open a trapdoor. I jumped down and ran down the tunnel. I heard sounds of pursuit and whirled around, watching as five men ran down the tunnel towards me. Suddenly I realized I’d left my dagger back in the cabin. I took my stance, holding my Odachi at the ready. The first one came and I sliced at his stomach, my sword cutting through flesh and hitting his hip bone.

‘ARGH!!!’ he cried out, falling to the floor just as an arrow shot through the air.
